Some of our greatest moments at Sloan have been getting to know and hang out with other Sloanies at C-functions, sailing on the Charles, or drinking cheap beer at The Muddy Charles. Parties without a Purpose are organized around the idea that not everything we do together needs to have an explicit business objective. Sometimes it’s just fun to get to know other really smart, super good-looking people like ourselves. And, perhaps even in the long-run, your social Sloan network will provide some business benefit, but if it does, that’s like getting ice cream served on your tater tots: it’s awesome, but not necessary.
Our goal is to hold an event each quarter where Sloanies of all shapes, sizes, ages, and quantity and quality of hair can come hang out and enjoy each other.
Want to help throw a party? Just realized you have 12 cases of wine and 211 burritos left over from Saturday and you need some friends to come over and help finish them? Have a great outdoor space in SoMa that is just begging for a bunch of super business nerds to descend upon it? Let us know, and, if it fits the Club’s highly selective and ultra-secret party criteria, we may be able to help you organize an event. If interested, please e-mail Jason Salfen at email@example.com.
